Peek Behind the Veil
I share the story of what became my destiny. At 6 month of age I was presented to the Congregation as the Sophia-Christo child which was an amazing historical marker for a transformation to return the balance and harmony of the Divine Feminine and Divine Masculine as equals. Through a series of events including my near death experience, and my ordination on 10-10-10 as a Priestess of Mary Magdalene, I received a vision to create the Magdalene Moonrise Easter Celebration to fulfill the prophecy in the Bible:
“I tell you the truth, wherever the Good News is preached throughout the world, this woman’s deed will be remembered and discussed.” - Mark 14:9
My purpose in writing this chapter was to share with the world what we were doing as a Magdalene Community to fulfill this prophecy. Created from the vision I received to create a six station ritual so we could tell the story of her journey that led up to the deed that Jesus prophesied in both Mathew and Mark that we would remember discuss what she has done. Then we created an opportunity for people to have a direct embodied experience of her journey.
Hundreds of people over the years came forward to participate a live interactive ritual to walk in her footsteps and see Easter through Mary Magdalene's Eyes. We were anointed. We are to know that Christ Consciousness within ourselves. Over 30 Priestesses and Priests joined me in manning the six stations.

“My Priestess experiences was the most glorious thing that has ever happened to me in my life.” So says Christy Michaels in her chapter, “Peek Behind to Veil.” I’m very grateful that I played a significant role in making that experience happen for Christy, for I was the person who initially inspired her and ordained her to become a priestess. So I had a first hand view of her remarkable transformation beginning on 10/10/10.
I also participated in all but one of her 15 Easter Moonrise Celebrations along with playing a significant role in numerous other Magdalene events.
I continue to be curious about that unseen, mystical and alluring energy that entered into Christy’s and my life that completely alter it’s course. It’s a compelling force that captivated and took us on a quest that radically changed the direction of our lives. I trust that many of the contributors of, “Magdalene Unveiled” have encountered this same, indisputable energy that lead them onto new, uncharted paths. It’s intellectually hard to name or speak about but it is an undeniably compelling force.
Maybe we can simply call it, A Magdalene Calling. However you want to name it, it’s real and She is calling many of us, for there is much work to accomplish.
People believe that America is a Christian country but Christianity is incomplete without Magdalene standing in her rightful place next to Jesus in the Christian Mystery. Christy Michael’s, Magdalene Moonrise Celebrations ask us to see Easter though the eyes of Mary Magdalene.
We are all aware that our world is out of balance. Women are needed to rise up, speak out and stand as co-equals with men if we are to bring about greater harmony, balance and Peace on Earth.

Station #1 The Anointing
We are fulfilling the Prophecy, a mandated by Jesus that wherever the Gospel is preached throughout the world that we remember and discuss what she has done. Mark 14v9. We of course know that wherever the gospel is preached what Magdalene has done is rarely remembered or much less discussed. In fact, efforts have been to diminish the Magdalene status as Jesus intended by labeling her a prostitute and a penitent sinner. He appeared to her at the resurrection to elevate her status. It was believed that women were less than, and if this is true, then don't you think he would have appeared to Peter first? WATCH THE ANOINTING
Station #2 The Last Supper
We thank the artists like Leonardo de Vinci who kept the stories of what was suppressed alive for us to acknowledge what she did. The other woman perhaps more suppressed than Magdalene is the Holy Sophia and her connection to the Magdalene. Magdalene walks into the room filled with men hostile to her. They are grumbling that she cracked open an anointing jar of expense oil that they could have sold for so much money to feed the poor. Jesus rebukes them telling them to "Leave her alone." Then he foreshadows the prophecy that there will come a day when throughout the world, wherever the gospel is preached she will be remembered and discussed for what she has done. - Mark 14v9
Station #3 The Cross
The Cross is station #3 of the Magdalene Moonrise Global Summit Day 4 of 7. Here we take a deep dive into the misinterpretation of the Crucifixion. In A Course In Miracle, Jesus explains the real purpose of the Cross was to teach only love. Instead we became fixated on the Crucifixion. What happens at the Cross is the women demonstrated courage and stayed. Courageous sacred holy women. We have lost the archetype of the Sacred Holy Woman. With the rise of the White Christian Nationalism, which is devoid of the Magdalene, except in a minimal way, we are called upon to raise her up, which is what the prophecy is asking of us. This makes it super important to gather the Holy women to take a stand and bring the balance of love which she brought by entering into a sacred partnership with her beloved. We, in our Magdalene Community, are hoping to inspire you to gather women into circles to see Easter through Mary Magdalene's eyes and help us fulfill the prophecy.
Station #4
The Forgiveness Altar
Day 5 of 7 the Magdalene Moonrise Easter Celebration Summit is Station # 4 the Forgiveness Altar . Held Thursday, April 17, 2025 - Day Five – is on the Importance of Forgiveness and steps to forgive. In the Gospel of Mary There is no sin, except our mistaken ideas that corrupt our true nature causing mis-creations in our lives. We are here to love. Our beloved Priestess sister's Connie Viveros, Diana Kelly, and Michele Newman lead a deeper conversation about the healing of the mother, sister and ancestral wounds. The door way to healing is feeling. We should a clip of one our sacred masculine brothers Dan Morse expressing his deep sadness about the wounds inflicted on women by the patriarchy at our Divine Feminine Wailing Wall ceremony where the women and men in our community were expressing our feelings about the loss of women's rights in 2025. His apology was so touching. They were followed by A Course In Miracles teacher Rita Johnson who picked A Course In Miracles lesson on forgiveness to discuss the unique point of view the course takes of how to forgive. Honoring the loss of Black History from the directive of project 2025 to withdraw support for Black History events we share the art of Shiloh Sophia and Dan Morse: singing Sometimes I feel like a motherless child.
Station #5 The Empty Tomb
On this day, Friday, April 18, the sixth day of the Magdalene Moonrise Global Summit, we learn about The Empty Tomb, which is the 5th Ritual Station. When we go within, into the darkness of the tomb, we are greeted by the angel priestesses. In a deeply moving ritual, they anoint our hearts, for we are the spirit of love, not just bodies.
Led on a journey of the heart by Priestess Melissa Sophia Joy, she leads us within to discover the love that awaits our knowing. To walk forth through the last station, which we call the Gates of Heaven, the priestesses anoint our heart. To experience Heaven on Earth, we need to be led by a heart that is on fire with love.
Station #6 The Gates of Heaven
With our hearts now open we are free to experience Heaven on Earth we now walk forth. With the passion of our Divine Feminine sisters we hear about the amazing work: Global - Antoinette Rootsdawtah, who changes the world Internationally with her Ubuntu "Spirit of Oneness" global project.
National - Jan Sara Jorgensen tells the story of her vision to circle women up around the country to find our voices so that we may raise up the Divine Feminine as fearless leaders. Locally -Finally we have a wonderful example of local transformation of Rev. Kimberly Elliot who as a Congregational minister (priestess) has welcomed in the Sacred Feminine as an integral part of her church.
